We met in the most romantic place imaginable- the printing station at the UTC library. The conversation began over a shared frustration: WHY ARE LIBRARY PRINTERS SO IMPOSSIBLE TO USE? One thing led to another, and eventually, I asked Baker for a ride home. He agreed, and that is the moment I was introduced to his beloved 2001 Subaru outback- a car with more personality than most people. We couldn't stop laughing about it, and that moment pretty much summed us up; quirky, lighthearted, and easy from the start. Then COVID hit, and somehow I ended up spending most of my time at Baker's parents' house. It's hard to say whether it was because of his irresistible charm or the endless supply of food and liquor, but either way, it worked. Somehow, between that old Subaru, an international pandemic, and the last 3 years, we have built this life together- one full of laughter, love, and two really strange cats. Now we can't wait to celebrate the next chapter with all of you!
